An exercise in an Interior Architecture Class at FTCC was to design atwo-story art gallery with an apartment above. We utilized the Bienenstock Interior Design Competition as the guidelines to follow, and were encouraged to enter the competition at the end of the class. We were given parameters for the existing building, and some strict rules on how to upfit the space. Of course I broke some of those rules, like the one about no changes to the exterior walls of the building. My plan calls for knocking out the antique store front and installing glass roll-up doors.
