Design School Portfolio

In 2012, after working with the architect Todd Shoaf at FTCC to build the CCC model, I decided to enroll in design school. Here is some samples of some of my work. Click on photo to go to gallery.DSC04201“Kit of Parts” model

Project: Design a structure using standard lumber from a specific array of sizes. This was a group project. My two partners and I developed this by playing with several ideas. This sculpture is made up of 32 2×4’s. We started with a Golden Spiral as a guide for placement of 16 of the boards, then stacked them in an array. We then mirror that structure and attach the two structures together along the Golden Spiral.
